Series 8 Case & Dial

Firstly, the 40mm octagonal case is in black ion-plated stainless steel with brushed and polished finishing (view silver tone version here). Secondly, the innovative dial combines a metal lattice with blue mother of pearl beneath. Also, the design provides an attractive contrast between the straight edges of the octagonal case and the clean lines of the watch face. Furthermore, the rose gold tone hands and hour markers are luminous for improved visibility in poor light. Additionally, a date indicator at 3 o’clock is a useful feature.

Movement

The Series 8 is equipped with an 0950 automatic calibre with enhanced magnetic resistance to protect the movement against external magnetic fields. Also it has a 42 hour power reserve, hacking function and water resistance to 10 bars (100m). Finally, a black IP bracelet with folding clasp secures the Citizen Series 8 Automatic to the wrist.
