Secondly, the black dial is in mother of pearl with applied gold tone hour markers and hands. Similarly, the cabochon set into the crown is also black to complement the dial. Additionally, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial. Furthermore, the crystal has a bevelled edge which reflects the shape of the case.
