Developed in 1944 by the Swiss Federal Railways (the SBB) for their station clocks, it was first launched as a wristwatch by Mondaine in 1986. The design has truly stood the test of time and has remained unchanged ever since. The look is minimalist with clear Bauhaus influence. Functionality and legibility are the hallmarks of this timepiece collection.

Characterised by it’s brushed 36mm steel case this Mondaine Classic Pure Watch has a timeless look and feel. The iconic dial is clear and legible at all times thanks to the bold hour markers and minute track. For a really minimal look, this version is without a printed logo.

The strap is deliberately pared back in plain black vegan grape leather. The red lining is a hidden design feature which complements the sweeping red second hand and red Mondaine monogram set into the crown.
