Oris Bronze Big Crown ProPilot

The Oris Bronze Big Crown ProPilot is a true pilot’s watch. Now available in bronze for the first time, the warm tones of this new model come from its bronze case, fluted bezel and signature oversized crown. ProPilot is the result of extensive research between professional pilots and Oris product designers. The Oris Big Crown DNA has been respected and transformed into a new generation of elite pilot watches. Consequently, this ProPilot timepiece embodies the spirit of aviation and is full of great features.

Bronze Case, Dial, Date, Crystal

Firstly, the Bronze case is 41mm in diameter and has a distinctive fluted edge to the bezel. Secondly, the dial is in black. Also, it has bold, arabic figures and hour markers in white. Along with the hands, these are coated in superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, a minute track ensures the dial is easy to read. The date is displayed at 3 o’clock. Finally, the sapphire crystal is domed on both sides. An anti-reflective coating on the inside reduces glare for better legibility in the cockpit.

Movement, Water Resistance, Crown, Caseback, Strap

Equipped with a precision Oris 751 automatic movement, the watch has a 38 hour power reserve. In addition it is water resistant to 10 bars (100m) and has a large easy grip screw-down crown. This has the same fluted pattern as the bezel. Similarly, the see-through caseback also screws-in and allows a fantastic view of the movement in action. Finally, the olive green textile strap has a bronze seatbelt-inspired folding clasp.
