Seiko Presage Style 60’s Black Dial Watch
This handsome Seiko Presage Style 60’s Black Dial Watch is from the Presage Style 64 collection. The collection is inspired by the design of Japan’s first ever chronograph, originally created by Seiko in 1964 to coincide with an important sporting event in Tokyo. Consequently, watches in the collection are practical and modern with retro vintage 1960s looks.
Automatic Movement, Case
Equipped with an automatic 4R35 calibre movement, the Presage Style 60’s Black Dial Watch has a power reserve of up to 41 hours. Also, it is possible to manually wind it and you can feel the strong torque of the winding mechanism when you grip the crown. Furthermore, a see-through screw caseback enables a great view of the movement in action.
Case, Black Dial
The 40.75mm circular case is elegant in brushed stainless steel with a green/bronze fixed bezel. In contrast, the dial is in black (view blue dial version here). Also, applied silver tone hour indexes and a gauge-like minute track are another nod to the retro heritage of the piece. Moreover, sepia-toned Lumibrite on the hands and hour markers add to the minimalist look with no compromise on practicality. Finally, a brushed-finish solid link stainless steel bracelet completes the look and a folding clasp secures it to the wrist.
